Monticello is just a wonderful community! Serving as a Councilman for a total of twenty years, I am proud of city projects that impact citizens and the quality of life in this community. A 20-year appointed representative of the City Parks Board, I see the parks as important and integral to the community. People look at the parks and they can see a community's commitment to quality of life issues. Green space in a community benefits citizens, visitors and serves as a positive economic development tool. I am so proud of our parks.

I am an avid walker and I think the ongoing city sidewalk repair project is another positive city accomplishment.

One project I am committed and dedicated to seeing completed is the North Main Street project. In government, many projects are ongoing and take time to be completed. Our job is to make certain that the wheels of progress keep moving.
