Overview

The Monticello Fire department is proud to serve the citizens of Monticello, White County, and Jefferson township in Carrol County. The Monticello fire department provides fire, rescue, and ALS emergency medical services to the city of Monticello, Union township, and Jefferson township. We also provide EMS and rescue services to Big Creek, Cass, Honey Creek, Jackson, Liberty, Lincoln, Monon, Prairie, and Round Grove townships. We serve a total of 433 square miles of rescue and ALS EMS services. Monticello Fire department employs 42 full-time firefighters / EMTs / Paramedics. Our fire department also maintains specialty rescue teams.
