Welcome Back! September Parks Programs Announced!

The Monticello City Parks Department announces the following September Programs. Please register for each class.  To register call Cindy Isom at 574-583-4525 or the Parks Department at 574-583-3983 or leave a message.  Most classes are free of charge, unless noted in the description.  If you have general questions, please call Cindy Isom at 574-583-4525.

  • Terra Cotta Pumpkin - Thursday, September 10th at 6:00pm in the Central Pavilion at the City Park.  It's time for fall décor!  Make and decorate a clay pumpkin.  Please wear a mask.  Limit 10 projects.  For Adults.  Cost $8.00
  • Chimney Swifts - Friday, September 11th at 8:00pm at the Tornado Memorial (Broadway & Bluff).  Watch the chimney swifts funnel down the chimney at Alex's Apparel.  Plenty of room to social distance, but please wear a mask.  Bring a chair or sit on benches.  No binoculars needed.
  • Mosaic Stepping Stones - Tuesday, September 15th at 6:00pm in the Central Pavilion at the City Park.  Male a concrete stepping stone with lots of bling to decorate it.  Please wear a mask.  Limit 10 students.  For students 3rd - 8th Grade.
